The Operative by William Boyd Gardner
FBI operative goes undercover to save an FBI operative in Iran who has been captured.
It sounds more exciting than is was, but it had some interesting turns and a very slight rekindling love story between an estranged husband and wife.
I probably will not pick up another one by this author.
I earned my BA in English about 5 years ago. When I was done with my schooling I was so tired of reading that I vowed I was done. What a stupid vow! Thanks to a friend who was willing to loan me one of her favorite novels, Just Take my Heart, by Mary Higgins Clark, I have been reinvigorated and all I want to do is read. I have a two year old daughter so natuarally I can't read as much as I'd like, but I do manage to get out about a novel a week. I realized as I finished the first half dozen books I have read in the last couple months that I wanted an outlet to express my thoughts and opinions of the books. So naturally... here's my blog- dedicated to my reading material. Follow along, share your thoughts if you have read them as well.
